The Heresy of a Heartless Faith
What happens when love is rebranded as weakness?
๐ฌ๏ธ Opening Grounding
๐ฟ Welcome to the Cannabis Church of Science and Faith.
Inhale the stillness.
Exhale the illusion.
Today, we light the sacred herb with intention โ not to escape, but to remember.
Let us ground ourselves in breath, in truth, and in sacred rebellion โ for the world has once again called good evil, and evil good. But the soul knows. And so does the spark.
๐ฅ The Spark โ The Tension
What happens when a religion built on love declares love to be weakness?
When those who claim to follow Jesus โ the wounded healer โ say that his empathy was a trap, or worse, a sin?
This isnโt a theoretical question. Today, many Christians in America are being taught that empathy โ the act of feeling with another โ is dangerous. That compassion softens us. That mercy makes us vulnerable. That tenderness is a betrayal of righteousness.
And so we ask:
Without empathy, is there even Christianity left?
โจ Teaching โ Jesus, Gnosis, and the Lie of the โSin of Empathyโ
Jesus didnโt just teach empathy โ he embodied it. He wept with the grieving. He touched the untouchable. He fed the hungry, healed the sick, and chose to suffer with the suffering. This wasnโt weakness โ it was strength in its purest form.
But today, some pulpits preach another gospel โ one of conquest, domination, and power. A gospel without weeping. A gospel without humanity. A gospel with a cross, but no crucified Christ.
This inversion โ calling empathy sinful โ is the exact mirror of the demiurge’s lie. The demiurge fears empathy because empathy awakens oneness. Empathy shatters hierarchy. Empathy erases โus vs. them.โ
In Gnostic awakening, we learn this:
The spark in you is the same spark in me. To feel anotherโs pain is not to lose oneself โ it is to remember we were never separate.
Empathy is gnosis in action.
๐ง Philosophy โ When the Ego Hijacks Religion
Why would anyone want to kill empathy?
Because empathy threatens the ego.
Empathy is a soul function โ and soul speaks a language the ego cannot control.
The ego, like the demiurge, craves order, dominance, certainty, and control. It fears vulnerability, change, and connection. Thatโs why a religious system rooted in ego will always eventually label empathy as dangerous.
But the truth is this:
Empathy destabilizes empire.
It threatens nationalism.
It exposes cruelty.
It lifts the veil on injustice.
You canโt bomb the hungry if you feel their hunger.
You canโt cage children if you hear their cries as your own.
You canโt demonize the poor if youโve ever truly sat with them in silence.
To those in power, empathy is dangerous โ because it wakes people up.
But to us, it is holy.
๐ฟ Cannabis as a Vessel for Empathy
Cannabis โ our sacred plant โ softens the hardened places. It stills the ego. It lets the soul speak.
Cannabis does not make us weak. It makes us aware.
Of ourselves. Of each other. Of the Earth. Of the sacred web that binds us.
The plant teaches us to feel again.
To remember what society taught us to repress.
To listen โ without judgment.
To sit with pain โ without fixing.
To love โ without condition.
Cannabis is not a crutch. It is a compassion enhancer โ and in a world like this, thatโs revolutionary.
๐ A Vision for a Healed Faith
We envision a Christianity โ and a world โ where empathy is not erased, but exalted.
Where people no longer confuse cruelty with courage, or repression with righteousness.
Where sermons stir the heart, not the hate.
Where the sacred is defined not by who you exclude, but how deeply you feel.
A world where Jesus is followed not with flags and fear, but with bread, tears, and open hands.
A world where empathy is the proof of the Spirit โ not a punishment for the weak.
๐ฏ๏ธ Closing: Invitation and Practice
This week, light your herb with reverence.
And as the smoke rises, ask yourself:
Where have I been taught to silence my empathy?
Who is suffering that I have been told not to care for?
What part of my soul has grown calloused under the weight of false teachings?
This week, reclaim your heart.
Let yourself feel.
Let yourself weep if you must.
Because the tears of the empath are holy โ and in those tears, we often find God.
๐ฟ Let the divine spark within you, and the sacredness of life around you, be your scripture. Let love be your law.
