Sunday Sermon | ⏰ 7AM | 📰 CaveNewsTimes.com | 🌐 Facebook.com/ccosaf
🔰 Opening Reflection
“The kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
– Jesus (Matthew 4:17)
What does that really mean?
For centuries, we’ve been taught to think of heaven as later. A distant place. A divine reward after death.
But what if Jesus was pointing us in another direction?
What if “heaven at hand” means it’s within reach—right here, right now—if we choose it?
What if we are the ones who bring it to life… or keep it locked away with fear, ego, and hate?
Today’s sermon isn’t about waiting for heaven.
It’s about becoming it.
✝️ Faith Segment – “Science and Faith”
We believe God may be real—a force of love, evolution, and presence that exists in all things.
But religion? That’s man’s lens. Often warped by greed, control, fear, and tribalism.
“The kingdom of God is within you.” – Luke 17:21
That single verse turns mainstream religion on its head.
No temple, no tithe, no priest needed.
Heaven is not locked behind pearly gates.
It’s something we can create here, together, if we live in love.
🔍 A Truth From the Bible (We Often Ignore)
Over and over, the Bible commands us to care for the stranger:
- “Do not mistreat or oppress a foreigner, for you were foreigners in Egypt.”
- “I was a stranger and you invited me in…”
And yet—look around.
How do we treat refugees today?
Migrants? The poor? The mentally ill?
We criminalize the vulnerable and sanctify the powerful.
That’s not heaven. That’s empire.
🌱 Cannabis as Sacrament
Here, we reclaim what others call sin—and call it sacred.
Cannabis is not a gateway to depravity. It’s a doorway to presence.
Used with reverence, it helps us:
- Quiet the fear that clouds the mind
- Heal the trauma that hardens the heart
- Connect with God, with nature, with ourselves
In a world designed to keep us numb, cannabis invites us to feel.
And feeling is how we remember:
We were made to love.
We were made to care.
We were made for heaven—not just after death, but in life.
🧠 Philosophy Segment – “& Philosophy”

“Man is broken and beautiful. We must evolve—alone and together.”
We live in a world driven by fear:
- Fear of not being enough
- Fear of the other
- Fear of losing control
Fear is the true devil. Not a red figure with horns—but a virus of the mind that tells us to hate, hoard, and hurt.
And the truth is:
Fear has always stood in the way of heaven.
But it doesn’t have to.
Every religion started with a call to love—and ended with a system of control.
But we can separate the gold from the dross. We can keep the love and burn the fear.
🚀 A Vision of Humanity’s Future
What if our next great leap isn’t technological, but moral?
What if heaven isn’t about angels and clouds, but:
- Universal healthcare
- Clean water
- A living wage
- Compassion over conquest
- Equity over empire
A world where we cooperate, not compete.
Where the goal is healing, not domination.
It’s possible.
But only if we choose evolution over ego.
🙏 Closing Challenge or Prayer
“The kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
That means it’s close.
But not guaranteed.
Heaven isn’t waiting for us.
It’s inviting us.
So today, we leave you with this:
🧘 This Week’s Challenge:
Choose one moment—just one—where you silence fear and act in love.
Welcome a stranger. Forgive someone. Speak truth. Share your time.
Let that moment become your altar.
✨ Mantra for the Week
“Heaven is near. Love is the key. Fear is the lie.”
🗣️ Everything shared here—from thoughts and teachings to news and reflections—comes from the heart of the Cannabis Church of Science and Faith. We speak freely and grow openly, without claiming to have all the answers. We simply ask better questions.
📢 If this touched you—share it.
