🌿 Welcome to the Cannabis Church of Science and Faith
We’re so grateful you’re here. These teachings exist because the path to wholeness begins with questioning. With our friends at Cave News Times, we walk together—through science, spirit, gnosis, and healing truth—to rediscover what was buried beneath fear and control.
✨ Theme of the Day: Jesus vs. Religious Power and Cult Control
❓ Opening Reflection:
What if the Jesus you were taught to worship looks nothing like the man who walked the earth?
What if his words were taken, twisted, and sold back to you—by those seeking power, not truth?
📜 Gnostic & Psychoanalytic Insight
Jesus of Nazareth was not a power-seeker. He was a system disruptor.
The historical Jesus—especially in Gnostic texts like The Gospel of Thomas—taught that the Kingdom of God is within you. Not in temples. Not in rituals. Not in donations. But within.
He challenged hierarchy. He overturned tables of the money-changers. He told his followers not to store up treasures, not to chase wealth, not to cling to possessions—but to give them away to those in need.
“If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.” — Matthew 19:21
But what do modern churches, televangelists, and cults say?
“Give it to us.”
They preach prosperity for the preacher and sacrifice for the flock.
They use Jesus’ name to fund jets, mansions, and mega-empires—while quoting a man who walked barefoot and broke bread with beggars.
In psychoanalytic terms, this is spiritual transference hijacked. Humans seek meaning and security, and false prophets exploit that desire—offering certainty in exchange for submission. This is how cults are born. Not by faith—but by fear, guilt, and blind obedience.
🔥 Reclaim & Reframe the Truth
Let’s be clear:
Jesus never asked for your money. He asked for your heart, your compassion, your courage.
He didn’t build walls—he broke them down.
He didn’t gather wealth—he gave it up.
He didn’t create rituals of control—he offered gnosis: direct inner knowing of the divine spark.
And when the Gnostic followers of Christ said you didn’t need a priest or a church to find God, what did the empire do?
They branded it heresy.
They built a religion around power instead of presence.
They silenced Sophia, erased the feminine, and made fear the foundation.
🕊️ Awaken the Collective Spirit
Ask yourself:
- Why does the church demand money, when Jesus demanded mercy?
- Who benefits when you are told to obey without question?
- What would change if you followed Jesus—not religion?
The difference is everything.
Jesus wanted liberation. Religion wanted loyalty.
Jesus offered inner knowing. Cults demand outer sacrifice.
Jesus walked with the poor. Power builds temples to keep them out.
🧘♀️ Ritual for Today
Light your sacrament. Sit in silence. Ask yourself:
“Who have I given my power to—and why?”
“How can I return to the truth that lives inside me?”
Then, write one sentence you wish Jesus had been allowed to speak in your life—but never was. Let that be the start of your healing.
🌌 The spark is within you. The truth has always been yours. The time to remember is now.
