A Gnostic Revelation for 2025 and Beyond

By Rev. Dr. Robert Anderson

I. The Pattern Repeating

From Eden to Enoch. From Jesus to Julian Assange. From Galileo to every teacher banned in Florida. The story is always the same: those who awaken us are punished.

We are told to worship obedience, not wisdom. We are told to fear those who ask questions. We are told that freedom is dangerous, that knowledge is subversion.

And yet the divine keeps whispering: “Awaken.”

When Eve reached for the fruit of knowledge, she was not committing sin. She was choosing to see. She was defying ignorance. The serpent did not lie — “your eyes will be opened” — and they were.

But for that, humanity was cursed.

When Enoch walked with God and revealed the secrets of the heavens, he was erased from the canon. The books that bear his name were hidden, destroyed, declared heresy.

“They took the keys of knowledge and hid them. They did not enter, and they did not let others enter.” — Gospel of Thomas, Logion 39

From the beginning, there has been a war against inner knowing.

II. The Fall of the Watchers — And the Rise of the Archons

In the Book of Enoch, divine beings called the Watchers come to Earth. They see human potential and choose to intervene, not out of rebellion, but compassion. They teach us to read the stars, to heal, to write, to understand.

For this, they are cast down. Condemned. Bound in darkness.

Their children, the Nephilim, become symbols of corruption and judgment.

But we must ask: Why was their knowledge feared? Why did the Most High not celebrate humanity’s growth?

This echoes Gnostic cosmology, where the creators of the material world — the Archons — seek to keep humanity ignorant, imprisoned in illusion. They fear the spark of the divine within us. They fear we will remember who we are.

And when we do, their false thrones crumble.

III. 2025: America’s New Dark Age

We live in an age where the ancient war has returned in modern robes.

  • Books are banned not for hate, but for honesty. In 2023 and 2024 alone, thousands of books were pulled from schools and libraries across America. Titles like The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison, Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe, Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You by Ibram X. Kendi, The 1619 Project by Nikole Hannah-Jones, and All Boys Aren’t Blue by George M. Johnson were stripped from shelves. Why? Because they dared to tell the truth about race, identity, and American history.
  • In Texas, a new law pushed the censorship further: books must be rated for “sexually explicit” content, leading not only to LGBTQ+ erasure, but to the Bible itself being banned in some districts — a profound irony that reveals how absurd and far-reaching this war on books has become. The Guardian, Dec 2024
  • In Utah and Missouri, similar rulings also led to the Bible being removed from school shelves, after being flagged under the very laws intended to ban “inappropriate” material. AP News
  • Science is dismissed when it challenges power. Climate science is labeled a hoax. Public health experts are smeared. Evolution is watered down or omitted. Meanwhile, fossil fuel giants write policy behind closed doors.
  • Educators are silenced for speaking of race, history, justice. Teachers are fired or forced to quit for acknowledging slavery, systemic racism, or LGBTQ+ identity. Laws are passed banning “critical race theory,” a term most lawmakers couldn’t even define.
  • Prophets are mocked and exiled. Whistleblowers, truth-tellers, journalists — they are demonized, sued, or jailed. The modern-day prophets do not wear robes. They speak through podcasts, protests, and courtrooms — and they are hunted all the same.

We live under leaders who weaponize religion and ridicule truth. Who wrap themselves in flags while they poison the Earth and preach morality while cutting aid to the poor. They shout “freedom” while banning words, banning books, banning bodies.

This is not democracy. This is the new inquisition.

Trumpism, and all systems like it, do not fear violence. They fear awakening. They fear a people who remember.

Because a people who remember are no longer controllable. They are no longer blind. They are no longer useful to empire.

And yet, the divine spark survives — in banned books, in sacred smoke, in your breath, in your questioning.

We do not need permission to awaken. We only need the courage to remember.

IV. The Blueprint for the Remembering

Let us begin with the sacred acts:

  • Ask dangerous questions. What do they not want you to know? Start by questioning what you were taught to never question. Write it down. Follow the thread. Doubt is not betrayal — it is the beginning of sight.
  • Read forbidden texts. Seek out the books they banned. Enoch. Thomas. The Secret Book of John. Ask why they were buried, and what truths lie inside. Read with both mind and spirit — not to obey, but to remember.
  • Meditate in silence and in smoke. Use stillness and sacred herbs to quiet the noise of empire. Let the smoke carry away the lies you’ve been fed. Let your thoughts drift toward memory — the deep kind that lives beneath words.
  • Reclaim your body, your mind, your spirit. Your body is not shameful. Your thoughts are not crimes. Your spirit is not a thing to be tamed. You are not broken. You are becoming. Begin treating yourself as holy.

Remember:

  • The fruit of knowledge was never evil.
  • The Watchers were never demons.
  • You were never meant to live in chains.

Each of us holds a map to the divine within. But the Church of Control would burn that map — by rewriting history, by demonizing your instincts, by mocking your questions.

So we will redraw it. In ash — from what they tried to burn. In light — from the sparks we carry. In breath — from the sacred inhale of courage.

You are not lost. You are remembering.

V. The Light the System Fears

You are not here to obey. You are not here to survive. You are here to awaken. To remember. To rise.

The system will call you rebellious. Dangerous. Unpatriotic. Heretical.

Wear those names with honor.

Because the path of gnosis — of inner knowing — is not safe. It is sacred.

“Whoever drinks from my mouth will become like me. I myself shall become that person, and the hidden things will be revealed to them.” — Gospel of Thomas, Logion 108

They fear this. They always have.

And that’s how we know it’s true.
